ABOUT THE FILM
They Took Jacob, the award winning short film by Lexi Johnson, is inspired by a true lived event during the Vietnam War. Set in 2025, the film is a contemporary retelling of a young woman who is asked to do the unimaginable to save the life of someone close to her. Vone Deporter, beloved mother figure to writer director Lexi Johnson, is the woman whose real life story completely captured the heart and mind of Lexi. They Took Jacob is Lexi Johnson's directorial debut.
FILM SYNOPSIS
